$100 fines start Monday, September 18, 2023 on the new school speed zone cameras established by the City of Alexandria in Summer 2023. The speed limit is 15 mph when school zone is active. Two speed cameras are in West End Alexandria, as follows:
Seminary Road between Kenmore Ave & N. Jordan St (Francis C. Hammond Middle School).
N. Beauregard St between N. Highview Ln & Reading Ave (John Adams Elementary School & Ferdinand T. Day Elementary School).
